Brotherhood

On a very windy Monday evening we had the pleasure of photographing these two brothers. Ominous clouds threatened to end our session but, thankfully, we had enough time to get some photographs and a tour of their neighborhood. Our enthusiastic 3 and 10 year old tour guides showed us local trails, creeks and gardens. Louis and Clark have nothing on these two.

Niece in her sixth month

We feel very lucky to be Aunt and Uncle to this incredibly adorable little girl. This morning, during a break in the weather, we took advantage of the recently fallen leaves for some great shots of her and her proud parents. She definitely enjoyed the session as much as we did, smiling big enough to show off her brand new teeth! Thanks for making our first Fall photo shoot such an absolute blast.

Those Eyes

We met this family in a beautiful courtyard for an early evening session. This adorable little girl was constantly on the move, but we still managed to get some great shots to show off her big brown eyes! Her brother, with equally striking eyes, was ready with his best magazine cover smile whenever we asked. He may have a career in modeling ahead of him. Our thanks to this wonderful family, we had a great time.

Countryside Session

This weekend we visited a beautiful part of Minnesota to photograph this Senior and his family. Upon meeting the gang it was readily apparent there is no shortage of laughter in their household. Even the Dog was friendly :) Thanks for a great session!

Fleeting Subjects

At the arboretum this morning, I (Jon) watched hundreds of busy bees of several different species as they collected pollen. It was the insect equivalent of grand central station! I managed to capture a few shots of them hard at work without getting stung. Which is your favorite bee?? (Add a comment to vote!)

High School Senior

It's back to school time, which means we get the opportunity to shoot some senior portraits. Sunday was the perfect evening for a stroll through the park. Many thanks to this bright H.S. senior for his patience and sense of humor.
